Logistical and other resources
The company is extensively equipped so as to achieve its objectives under optimal conditions. It uses in particular:
- Standard mining equipment: power shovels and backhoes, loaders, 50-ton semi trailers, and drilling machines.
- A range of earthmoving equipment: graders, bulldozers.
- A sizeable fleet of utility vehicles: trucks, vans, jeeps.
- A highly sophisticated communication system for the region, endowing it with nearly total independence from the local and international telecommunication network.
- High-tech hardware and software for the automated data entry in the field, topometric calculations, data management for producing plans, land modelling, layout studies, profile sections, calculations of cubic volumes and computations of quantities tied to the layout studies.
- Aeroplanes for accessing easily worksites situated in remote areas that are usually poorly served by official means of transport.
- A qualified and highly motivated workforce.
- An appreciable social benefits structure comprising a first-rate medical department.
Corporate stategy
The company’s strategy is geared to diversification in terms of business activities and geographic location. It intends to extend the action it initiated in reviving the mining activities in Katanga by carrying out new mining projects.
This activity will be supported upstream and downstream by developing and pursuing:

Mining exploration and drilling.
- The metallurgical treatment of ores to produce ore concentrates and finished or semi-finished products.
In addition to this development in the mining and metallurgy sectors,
EGMF foresees a development in agriculture.
EGMF is consolidating its positions in Central Africa.
